Sabine Jamieson
Sabine is a qualified counsellor who channels her lifelong passion for animal behaviour into her practice. She offers individually tailored exercises designed to address specific client needs, creating a unique and effective therapeutic approach.
Sabine often reflects on how, while training dogs and horses, she frequently discovers that animals teach us humans just as much as we teach them. This insight deeply informs her empathetic and insightful therapeutic style.
"The connection I've built with my animals and our clients is incredibly rewarding. Seeing the progress and the deepening bonds is why I love what I do."
Sabine Jamieson

Sabine Jamieson
Sabine grew up in Germany surrounded by a great variety of domestic & wild animals, which she cared for and saw as part of her family. When Sabine came to Australia she became a nurse & counsellor, fostering children and dogs as well as rehabilitating wildlife. After raising her own 3 children and fostering kids with childhood trauma for over a decade, Sabine decided to set up a business on her farm at Mt Vincent in the Hunter Valley, focussed on helping traumatised foster children improve their mental & emotional well-being with the help of specially trained horses & dogs. While doing fortnightly hospital rounds as a Delta dog, Sabine's dog Monty also has many other skills which help clients interact and build confidence doing agility or retrieval games. His younger brother Alfie is still in training to further his scent and retrieval skills until he also reaches certification through Delta dogs. Monty, Alfie and the Hillview horses all featured in an NBN news story in November 2025.
